Music: Separation Man

Posted by Mike on April 15, 2006

This is a cool song played by a Chicago based group called The Outlaw Family Band and videotaped at a Chicago bar/restaurant called Horseshoe where they play on most Thursday nights. I became acquainted with their music through my banjo teacher Ben Wright who is a member of the band. “Separation Man” was written by their lead singer James Weigel, a great wordsmith and the author of many other terrific songs. The Outlaw Family Band will travel with me on the midwest leg of my book tour, playing at readings and afterwards at local venues.

Thanks. I was just in Vancouver on the book tour but the stay was too short…half a day. It’s been hectic but cool. Twenty-some cities in four to five weeks. Hope you are fine.
